QUESTION & ANSWER
Answer: Yes. Out of over 20,000 units tested or sold since 1998, we have had less than 100 complaints of product failure. In most cases, the problem stemmed from people using the product incorrectly.
Question: How long does it work for?
Answer: One application will last for at least three to four weeks, rain or shine.
Question: What area does it cover?
Answer: One tube, if used as instructed, should cover about 1/10 of an acre. In an extreme problem area, a higher concentration of 'DABS' may be necessary.
Question: Is it toxic?
Answer: No. A tube of Skunkshot has roughly the same toxicity as a shot glass of whiskey. Not that we would recommend trying to drink Skunkshot.
Question: Will it 'stink out' my garden?
Answer: No. We have had no complaints of this to date. While it is odorous when being applied, the most people will notice a day after application is the occasional very faint whiff. However we do stress that it is an outdoor product and should not be used indoors.
Question: How should I use/apply it?
Answer: It is important that people dab SkunkShot over the entire area they want to cover, not just around the edge of that area. The dabs should be very small (about the size of a small coin) and should be spaced at about three or four per square meter. It's better to have a little bit in a lot of places than a lot in a few places. SkunkShot can be applied directly onto dirt or, if the gardener needs a reminder of where it is, onto twigs, ice cream sticks, golf tees and other markers.
